The automobile industry and experts agree that these four trends will strengthen and accelerate their influence on each other. At the same time, the automobile industry is mature enough to make disruptive changes possible. Although it is generally believed that disruptive changes affecting the entire industry have begun to take shape, there is no consensus on how these trends will affect the auto industry in the next 10-15 years. To this end, we propose eight major points of view of the "2030 auto revolution", aiming to predict the changes that the auto industry will usher in and the impact of these changes on traditional auto manufacturers and suppliers, potential new market participants, regulators, consumers, markets and industrial value chains.
This study aims to make the upcoming changes more intuitive. Therefore, the prediction made in this study should be interpreted as possible speculation based on our understanding and around the four major trends. Of course, these speculations are not decisive in nature, but by discussing the potential future, they should help industry participants better prepare for the uncertainty.
